KUWAIT: A man was
sent to the public prosecution for kidnapping and raping another man. The
victim, Egyptian, went to a police station and told police that as he was
walking, a car stopped and the driver asked him to get in, saying that he
wanted to give him rice and oil.

The suspect then
drove to Sulaibiya farms area, raped the victim and left. Detectives were able
to identify the suspect, a Syrian man in his 50s, and found him in a Dhajeej
cafe. They waited next to his car and before getting in, he was arrested and
later identified in a line up by the victim.

Farwaniya police
arrested an adolescent who was showing off in his car in front of a girls'
school. His car then flipped over. The youth escaped with the car's license
plates, but he was identified. The car was taken to the police station, while
the suspect was arrested. He handed in the license plates and was sent to the
juvenile department.

Facilities detectives
arrested a man in Burqan oilfield area with 57 pieces of copper he is suspected
of stealing. Detectives who were on patrol spotted an SUV, but the motorist
attempted to escape when they approached him. The man, Indian, was arrested and
sent to Ahmadi police station.

A citizen found
the spot where his car was parked had collapsed and the rear side of the car
had fallen in the hole. An informed source said investigations are being made
to find out the reason of the collapse.
