KUWAIT: Kuwait is expected to witness stable moderate weather conditions at the weekend, with mild temperatures of 18-20 degrees Celsius expected by day and cooler 8-11 degrees Celsius at night amid predominately northwestern winds, according to a meteorologist.

Thursday's high temperatures were 17-19 degrees Celsius with light to moderate northwesterly wind at a speed of 12-38 km/h by day, while sea conditions were moderate with waves reaching 2-5 ft, Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi told KUNA. By night, conditions were cold with low temperatures dropping to 8-10 degrees Celsius with light northwesterly to variable wind at speed of 8-30 km/h, with sea conditions moderate with waves reaching 1-4 ft, he said, predicting foggy conditions in some areas.

Friday's high temperatures will be 18-20 degrees Celsius with light to moderate northwesterly to variable winds at a speed of 8-28 km/h by day amid mild sea conditions with waves reaching 1-3 ft, Qarawi said. By night, conditions are expected to be cooler with low temperatures dropping to 7-10 degrees Celsius with light variable wind at a speed of 6-22 km/h. Sea conditions will be mild with waves reaching 1-2 ft and foggy conditions are expected in some areas, the meteorologist said.
