Minister signs KD 8.5 million road maintenance contracts

KUWAIT: Minister of Public Works Abdul Rahman Al-Mutawa signed two road maintenance contracts with a total value of KD 8,560,000 yesterday, said informed sources. The first contract, with a total value of KD 5 million, involve urgent maintenance operations on various roads including asphalt, tiles, curbstones, ditches, cracks and water accumulation spots as well as roads and yards within various ministries. The second contract, with a total value of KD 3,560,000, is for urgent and immediate maintenance operations on highways including asphalt, tiles, curbstones, ditches, cracks and water accumulation spots, in addition to drainage systems and manholes, the sources added.
