KUWAIT: The Ministry of Public Works and Ministry of Health (MoH) held extensive meetings recently to discuss handing over the new Jaber Hospital to MoH in order to install medical equipment, MPW Undersecretary Awatef Al-Ghunaim said, adding that since constructions are almost complete. Ghunaim added that within the coming few days, MPW would hand over all the hospital’s blueprints upon MoH’s request. She also said that MPW intends to meet with the contractor that executed the MoE building to discuss the problems he was facing.
The Ministry of Education’s (MoE) Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Development and Activities Faisal Maqseed issued a decision to honor grade 12 students who secured the highest grades. According to the decision, the top 10 students in the science section (both Kuwaitis and non-Kuwaitis), the top 10 in the arts section (Kuwaitis and non-Kuwaitis), the top 50 Kuwaitis in the science section and the top 50 Kuwaitis in the arts section, provided none got less than 90 percent, will be honored.
