KUWAIT: The government performance apparatus issued stern warnings to seven government bodies over the multitude of the administrative violations they have committed. MP rejects arming budget

KUWAIT: MP Rakan Al-Nisf rejected a government request to approve a supplementary budget of KD 6.2 billion to be withdrawn from the state’s general reserve for buying arms. Nisf asked the government to review the weapons budget, adding that the amount is very large. He said under the current oil prices and the expected deficit, it is not possible to accept it under any circumstances. —Al-Rai
