KUWAIT: The Ministry of Education (MoE) is working hard to fight using modern technology to cheat in exams, and that there "are many solutions to eliminate any signs of a cheating," Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr Bader Al-Essa said yesterday.

Exams are running smoothly, especially after cancelling some difficult questions from the curriculum, Dr Al-Essa said after his tour in some schools to check high school's second term tests.

The Ministry is prepared to face any new ideas and to cheat and would "tighten the screws on cheaters," he warned. The ministry has a plan for the development of educational methods from the primary to high school, in accordance with modern systems, he added.

For her part, Director of Al-Asimah Educational Area Badriya Al-Khaldi said around 10,956 students are performing the mid-term exams in all Al-Asimah high schools. - KUNA
