KUWAIT: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) will not allow any security breaches to take place and will ensure that the security apparatus is fully equipped to protect the nation, MoI’s Undersecretary Sulaiman Al-Fahd said yesterday. Fahd presided over a broad meeting involving senior officials to survey security conditions in the country, a statement by the ministry noted. Moreover, the statement added that the meeting also tackled a plan that has been set to uphold the nation’s security at a critical juncture rife with challenges and obstacles.
On the meeting, the statement pointed out that it underscored the need of extra efforts to boost the security forces’ capabilities of dealing with any situation deemed detrimental to national security. Fahd also conveyed Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah’s warm greetings to security forces, wishing them success and prosperity, the statement added. – KUNA
