KUWAIT: A man was injured when his vehicle turned over at Qurain-Mubarak Al-Kabeer road yesterday. Qurain firemen freed the man and others who were trapped persons in the vehicle. The man was handed to paramedics who transported him to the nearest medical facility.

Malfunctioned elevator

Firemen responded to a call about an elevator that malfunctioned in a commercial building. The elevator was lowered, and firefighters helped free a number of people who were trapped inside. No injuries were reported.

Municipality campaigns

Kuwait Municipality's Mubarak Al-Kabeer branch carried out a campaign that resulted in removing 15 abandoned vehicles. Owners of the vehicles failed to respond to warnings that the municipality had distributed before the campaign.

Director General of Kuwait Fire Services Directorate (KFSD) Lieutenant General Yousuf Al-Ansari received Director of UN office on limiting risks Dr Adam Bollocks on the occasion of his visit to Kuwait.
