MP Adel Al-Damkhi

KUWAIT: MP Adel Al-Damkhi said the current parliament had succeeded in monitoring and is now eyeing to legislation through amending what he described as 'laws with a bad reputation' that had been passed by the previous parliament. Commenting the performance of the current parliament, Damkhi stressed that it will focus on qualitative legislation and amending laws such as those of minors, DNA, Human Rights Diwan, precautionary detention and public tenders. He added that other laws such as the e-media law are against freedom of expression.
