The match was played under the aegis of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

The first half of the match ended with the lawmakers scoring two goals to nil from the government side, the latter tried their best to equalize the score in the second half to no avail. The lawmakers scored one more goal in the second half, giving tremendous impetus to the government team to do their utmost to score which they eventually did. They scored twice, ending the match with a win for the lawmakers with a final score of 3 to 2.
