KUWAIT: The Municipal Council approved forming an interim committee to preserve the country's historic and heritage sites. The decision was taken at a session chaired by the deputy chairman Abdullah Al-Mehri yesterday.

The five-member temporary commission will be in charge of specifying heritage locations in the capital, in addition to pin pointing locations of neighborhoods in old Kuwait, as well as naming streets and all spots at the popular Mubarakiya Market. - KUNA
