KUWAIT: Kuwait Municipality's public relations department said Farwaniya cleanliness and road occupancy team in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh carried out raids against open-air markets and removed abandoned cars in the area. Director of the Department Saad Al-Khrainej said all centers continue field tours to remove what he described as "anything that distorts the view." Khrainej said the tour resulted in the removal of eight half-lorries' load of vegetables, fruits and food supplies, as well as two half-lorries' load of clothes and used electronic devices and other goods. The goods were sent to the municipality landfill. Six roaming vendor violations were detected, and citations were issued accordingly. Meanwhile, ten abandoned vehicles were removed after the legal period on the warning sticker expired.
