KUWAIT: Kuwait Municipality's Public Relations Department said Jahra Services Department destroyed 10 tons of food stuff that were not fit for human consumption. In addition, 324 stores were inspected and 535 signs were removed from streets and yards, 251 citations were issued, 288 samples were sent to labs, and 1,887 cooled vegetables trucks were checked. Meanwhile, the department said its media campaign continues aiming at the safety of foodstuff. Head of the emergency team Riyadh Al-Rabee said the campaign resulted in the destruction of 18 tons of various food items.
