Murder report denied

KUWAIT: The Interior Ministry denied reports made yesterday by a local Arabic daily, which claimed that an average of six murders happen weekly in Kuwait. Statistics by the forensics department show that 12 murders occurred in Kuwait between January and June of 2018, which is an average of two per month. The newspaper's report confuses murders with assaults, the ministry explained in a statement released by its Relations and Security Information Department yesterday.
