KUWAIT: Italian rider Antonio Murruzzu won Alsaqb Equestrian Club showjumping championship following tough competition with other riders in the fifth and main round at a height of 135 cm in 58.50 seconds without faults. Rider Abdallah Al-Awadhi won second, third and fifth places while rider Shaker Al-Kazemi won fourth and Rakan Al-Hasawi won sixth place.

Chairman of Alsaqb Club Mohammad Al-Mailam and Chairman of Messilah Equestrian club Bader Al-Mailam handed riders their prizes. Golden Era rider Nadia Al-Mutawa won first place in the fourth round at a height of 125 cm, followed by Shaker Al-Kazmi, Ahmad Al-Ansari, Khalid Buresli, Aws Al-Tannak, Abdullah Al-Awadhi and Misk Al-Marshoud.

In the third round at 115 cm height, rider Abdullah Al-Hamad won first place followed by Abdullah Al-Ammar, Tala Barakat, Fawaz Al-Ghunaiman, Dalal Al-Sharhan and Fawaz Al-Saeed. Rider Mohammad Ghloum won first place of the second round at 105 cm, followed by Italian Kora Busilli, Musaed Al-Shuaibi and Dawood Al-Obaidan. Chairman of Alsaqb Club Mohammad Al-Mailam said competition was very strong between all riders, who were looking for first places. He said riders are ready for upcoming international championships.
