NA committees meet today

KUWAIT: The youth and sports committee plans to discuss two proposed laws on organizing some activities in the Kuwait Olympic Committee, sports federations and clubs. In the meantime, the financial committee holds a meeting at 11:00 am in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Anas Al-Saleh.

The committee will discuss the semiannual report on the annual plan 2015/2016 for the period (April 1, 2015 - September 3, 2015). Minister Saleh is expected to present the government’s views and plans to deal with the budget deficit, as well as plans to issue sukuk over periods of time to overcome the deficit.
