Nadal seals No 1 ranking for 4th time

KUWAIT: In line with World Autism Day, Gulf Capital Investment Company, InvestGB, the investment arm of Gulf Bank, organized an awareness seminar for its employees in collaboration with “Friends of Autism”, led by Abdullah AlOqab, Founder of Friends of Autism. This collaboration highlights InvestGB’s commitment to social inclusion and raising awareness about autism to its employees and to train them on how to deal with individuals with autism. Moreover, the company seeks to promote awareness and understanding of the special needs of autistic individuals. This initiative underscores InvestGB’s dedication to supporting various causes, aiming to enhance its role as a catalyst for positive change in society.

Friends of Autism was established to equip businesses with the knowledge and tools to effectively communicate with autistics individuals. AlOqab said, “Friends of Autism was established from a personal experience and a journey which started from our own experience with autism facing daily challenges in communication and social interactions, and witnessing firsthand the struggles autistic individuals and their families encounter due to lack of understanding and support from society.” He added, “We are proud to have given InvestGB employees this important awareness session in order to bridge the gap and to answer any questions they might have regarding autism”.

Commenting on the initiative, Nazem AlGhabra, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at InvestGB, emphasized the company’s commitment to social inclusion.
