2019 at its fourth Annual Award Ceremony - Most Valuable Team Players Awards.
The prestigious event was attended by Isam Jassim Al-Sager, NBK Group Chief
Executive Officer, Shaikha Al-Bahar, NBK Deputy Group CEO, Salah Youssef
Al-Fulaij, NBK Chief Executive Officer-Kuwait, and Emad Al-Ablani, General
Manager - Group Human Resources, in addition to a number of NBK's top
executives.

In his speech,
Isam Al-Sager highlighted the importance of human capital as a main pillar in
NBK's success over the years, indicating that none of the Bank's strategic
objective would have been possible if it weren't for the efforts and
contributions of such an amazing effective group of employees.

"We highly
appreciate our employees for their efforts, dedication and commitment to the
highest professional standards as they are the cornerstone of NBK's future
success and the force driving our leadership in providing excellent services to
our valued customers," Sager said. "I am extremely proud of your
dedication and very proud to be part of such an outstanding leading
organization," Sager added. In the meantime, the Group CEO also called on
all NBK family to foster and promote positive professional conduct to ensure
business transparency and maintain future success.

Sager stressed
that NBK Group establishes an environment shaped by the highest values of
integrity, thus creating synergy among all employees to drive the Bank's
continued success and achieve its vision and objectives. He assured that NBK
will continue to invest in its human resources, which now exceeds more than
6,000 employees in four continents, as it firmly believes in their vital role
in executing NBK's strategy to maintain its local and regional leadership.

NBK organizes
several events throughout the year to honor its employees in an effort to
support and encourage its human capital to always strive for excellence. The
selection of MVP honorees depends on the votes of their colleagues within the
same business unit. The voting criteria is based on teamwork, cooperation,
participation, and efficiency. The ceremony honoring MVPs included several
activities and contests, as well as awarding prizes to participating employees.
This year, and for the first time, teams across NBK Groups were also awarded
for their effective transparency, communication and team spirit.
