KUWAIT: Oman Air, the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman commenced operations in 1993 and one year later began its service to Kuwait, making it one of the first airlines to fly to the destination. Oman Air now flies three times daily between Kuwait and Oman.

The airline has recently appointed a new Country Manager in Kuwait, Mustapha El Hamoui , who said: "Kuwait is an increasingly important market for us and the results in 2017 have been excellent. The growth in passenger numbers is a testimony to the quality of our product and services, the ability of our staff to deliver under difficult market conditions and the ongoing support of our guests.

Historically Oman and the Indian subcontinent have been a key area of focus, however more recently Oman Air has expanded with additional services to the Far East and Europe. Kuala Lumpur is fast emerging as one of the hot leisure destination and the airline connects ten times weekly to Kuala Lumpur International Airport with its wide body aircraft via Muscat."

Oman Air has consistently won many accolades, the most recent additions are the two World Travel Awards Middle East 2017. For four years running the airline has taken the titles 'Middle East's Leading Airline - Business Class' and 'Middle East's Leading Airline - Economy Class,' voted for by travel and tourism professionals from around the world.
