KUWAIT: MoI's Relations and Security Media Director Brigadier Adel Ahmed Al-Hashash said that the security sectors have put a special plan in place as the new school year begins. Al-Hashash added that 486 police patrols have been deployed to secure various streets and schools to deal with possible traffic congestions. He also noted that traffic light timings would be adjusted. Al-Hashash said that MoI Undersecretary Lt General Suleiman Al-Fahad had instructed all senior security officials of various ranks to be present on various streets to follow up the plan.

A 25 year old Filipino was recently arrested in a Salmiya Spa after his medical tests showed that he is infected with a contagious disease.

Two Arab expats were recently arrested for selling fake KD 10 revenue stamps for half price, said security sources, noting that the suspects confessed to receiving the fake stamps from abroad to sell them in Kuwait.

Bus accident

Two Asian were seriously injured while five others sustained various wounds and bruises when a bus overturned along King Abdul Aziz expressway. Security sources said all the injured were rushed to Adan hospital for treatment.
