KUWAIT: Members of the Diplomatic Women's Committee (DWC) arranged a meet up on Saturday, to start its new cultural season, with the participation of the lady ambassadors, spouses of the ambassadors and women diplomats delegated to Kuwait after returning from their summer vacations.

The members of the committee were also pleased by the return of Nargis Al-Shatti, the advisor of the committee, to continue her volunteer work as she received felicitations from everyone. Al-Shatti also presented the committee's new program aiming to introduce Kuwaiti culture and historical values to the newly arrived diplomats and to build the social and cultural bridges that contribute to the development of diplomatic work between Kuwait and the countries across the world, especially the countries that aspire to enhance the role of women as an essential element for the development and progress of their institutions as well as the promotion of the voluntary work for communities to aspire to the sustainability of community service programs.

"We strive to achieve sustainable development for the year 2035 and this is one of the most important goals of the committee for this year through this forum," said Nargis Al-Shatti, the advisor of the committee. DWC also presented a lecture about derma-care in the presence of the dermatologist Dr Samar Abulkhair and Dr Azza from Vichy skin products company after which an informative competition was held and gifts were distributed to all members of the Diplomatic Women's Committee.
