nisKUWAIT: Abdulmohsen Abdulaziz Al-Babtain Co (AABC), the exclusive agent of Nissan in the State of Kuwait, is proud to announce that Nissan Al-Babtain Sales Executive Mohammed Dayane has received first place award during the annual Regional Nissan Sales Executive Excellence Competency (NISEC) contest, & Service Technician Tiljo Varkey received the bronze medal for the Nissan Service Technician Excellence Competency Award contest (NISTEC), held early this month.

Top sales force and service technicians from across the region came together to compete in the Regional Skills Contests held in Dubai. Nissan Middle East conducted the contests in four different languages with 11 countries competing in four categories. Nissan Al-Babtain was conferred the following awards:

* Nissan Sales Executive Excellence Competency Award (NISEC) - GOLD medal winner: Mohamed Samir Dayane, as well as receiving Best performance in Vehicle Presentation category.

* Nissan Service Technician Excellence Competency Award (NISTEC) - BRONZE medal winner: Tiljo Varkey

Saleh Al-Babtain, CEO - Al-Babtain Group congratulated the winners and thanked the supporting team for their hard work and dedication. As a token of appreciation, he announced the management's decision to reward both winners.

The Regional Skills Contests, which are held annually, comprise of four competitions for Technicians, Service Advisors, Sales and Parts. Contestants are tested against NISSAN's global selling standards with the objective of realizing their capabilities, advancing their skills and bring them up to the Nissan standards thus ensuring customer service excellence in the Sales & Service process.

The awards span every aspect of the business - from knowledge of Nissan genuine parts to service advice to sales acumen to technical expertise. The Japanese automaker invests heavily in customer care and focuses on providing the highest standards of sales and after-sales service.
