ShareKUWAIT: The court of cassation convened yesterday but gave no decision on requests made by lawyers to suspend the sentences passed on a number of current and former MPs as well as some citizens over charges of breaking into the National Assembly building. The case files had not arrived from the public prosecutor's office in time yesterday for the court to make its decision.
Wedding halls
The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor (MSAL) yesterday launched an application that enables people to reserve wedding ceremonial halls through smart phones, Assistant Undersecretary for Social Development Hassan Kathem said, noting that the application is available for download through the App Store. People will have access to review the halls, their locations and interior design prior to booking, Kathem added. Thirty wedding halls are available for reservation through the app, he explained, adding that the service will be available for Android users by the end of this year.
