Officials mull security preparations for 'Ashura'

KUWAIT: Interior
Ministry Undersecretary Lt Gen Essam Al-Naham met husseiniya officials
yesterday in the presence of Undersecretary for General Security Affairs Lt Gen
Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Acting Undersecretary for Traffic and
Operations Affairs Maj Gen Abdelaziz Al-Hajiri and other senior officials.

The meeting
discussed preparations to secure husseiniyas marking 'Ashura' on Muharram 10th
and the days leading to that date. The undersecretary urged husseiniya goers to
comply with the law and police instructions in the vicinity of husseiniyas.
