KUWAIT: His
Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah yesterday received a
cable from Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman, congratulating him on recovery
following a recent health problem. In the cable, the Sultan of Oman wished His
Highness the Amir well and Kuwait further advancement and prosperity under his
wise leadership.

In response, His
Highness the Amir sent a cable to Sultan Qaboos, voicing thanks and
appreciation to him for his good sentiments and sincere prayers, and wishing
the Sultanate of Oman and its well-regarded people much progress and
development under his judicious steering. His Highness the Amir received
similar cables from Oman's Deputy Prime Minister Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud
Al-Said and Tunisia's interim president Mohamed Ennaceur.

Meanwhile, His
Highness Amir received a congratulatory cable from National Assembly Speaker
Marzouq Al-Ghanem, on recovering from the recent health setback, wishing His
Highness Sheikh Sabah wellbeing. In response, His Highness the Amir sent a
cable to Speaker Al-Ghanem, thanking him for his kind sentiments.

In addition, His
Highness the Amir received a congratulatory cable from Chairman of the
Jordanian Senate Faisal Akef Al-Fayez over his recovery. Fayez uttered his
sincere congratulations over His Highness the Amir's recovery and he wished him
a good health. His highness the Amir addressed a cable to Fayez, expressing his
