KUWAIT: One person died in a fire reported in a Farwaniya house recently, Kuwait Fire Force said. Firemen headed to an Arab-style old house in the area in response to an emergency call, and found that some residents were trapped behind flames at a second-floor apartment.

They managed to rescue  the trapped persons, but one of them succumbed to his fatal injuries on site, KFF said. An investigation was opened to reveal the cause of the fire, it added. Meanwhile, KFF said that firemen battled a blaze reported in a Sulaibiya house recently. No injuries were reported as an investigation was opened into the incident, KFF said.
