KUWAIT: Ooredoo, the fastest network in Kuwait, proudly sponsoring Kuwaiti equestrian Rakan Al-Hasawi as its brand ambassador for the current season 2017-2018. The sponsorship comes in alignment with the company’s commitment to enriching youth and supporting their passions.

Al-Hasawi won a number of awards locally and regionally, such as the CHI Al-Shaqab horse hurdles competition in Qatar, in addition to the Kuwait Police Show Jumping Tournament and the Kuwait Riding Center Tournament, in addition to the Hala Febrayer 2017 which was sponsored by Ooredoo Kuwait recently, among other competitions.

In a statement regarding this, Ooredoo Kuwait’s Corporate Communications Senior Director Mijbil Alayoub said, “We have great pride in the achievement of young promising Kuwaiti show jumper Rakan Al-Hasawi. Empowering youth is among Ooredoo’s top priorities through its CSR strategy. The company has recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs, to support youth projects and initiatives. Ooredoo is continuously working with the Ministry to enrich youth experience in a variety of fields, with a focus on volunteerism.
