I said yesterday, we should not let an evil-minded person take over the minds of our children and destroy all we have built over the years. Even if we do not have fears towards our children out of confidence that we raised them well, reality has it that we should be careful towards those who are waiting for the opportunity to corrupt them through social communications.
The issue has gone beyond corrupting the morals of our children, to corrupting their ideas and beliefs. It is easy to accuse reformists and consultants of exaggeration, but believe me we all will pay the price if the matter gets out of control, so we must caution them before handing them devices.
A social advisor said parents must learn about an app before allowing their children to download it, because parents' lack of knowledge about these applications is part of the problem. Follow up and guidance is also necessary every now and then. When one of the children gets in trouble or faces a problem, there should be a balanced reaction, because some children may get into extreme trouble, but the reaction is very cold.
Rationalizing children's use of the devices is beneficial, but it is not a decisive remedy because children may get lost in a moment, so we should keep guiding them as much as we can. Part of the solution is not allowing children to have passwords on their devices or allowing parents to have access to the devices. May God give us the wisdom and ability to take the right decision at the right time for the right reason.
Experiences - be they personal that you went through yourself - or what others have gone through, are beneficial under all circumstances. Successful people are those who benefited from their failures and success equally. The failed experience teaches me how to rise from my failure and not consider what happened at the end and keep trying. The honor of trying is an achievement and gain, and it expresses the determination of the person who tried. Because failure does mean the failure of an idea, as normally things do not come about from just one trial; rather it may be after a series of attempts.
What is important is not to bow to failure because it will prevent you from gaining skills. We must remain on the go at all times, so as not to waste one single minute of our lives for nothing. Once again I say perseverance brings results!
