KUWAIT: With the participation of 1,500 people, Fawzia Sultan Healthcare Network (FSHN), a nonprofit healthcare provider, concluded yet another successful RunKuwait race in support of children with special needs for the tenth year. The revenues of this race will provide treatment sessions at deeply reduced and no cost for the children treated at the non-profit Children's Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center (CERC) at FSHN. The unit offers services for children in a number of specialty areas including physical therapy, speech pathology, mental health counseling, behavior therapy, and occupational therapy.

For the tenth year, FSHN organized this charity race in order to support the treatment of children with special needs at FSHN's Children's Evaluations and Rehabilitation Center (CERC). FSHN is deeply grateful to our participants and sponsors for supporting our cause as well as believing in FSHN's nonprofit mission. The sponsors' generous support allows FSHN to provide high-caliber healthcare care to children with special and complex health needs whose families would not otherwise be able to afford their specialized healthcare treatments.

Because of Run Kuwait and the generosity of its sponsors, many children are now able to obtain the treatment they need. As a result of the run, FSHN estimate that it will be able to provide around 2000 therapy sessions for 45 children at low and no-cost. The race participants, families, friends, and supporters were welcomed with a number of fun-filled activities at the race village including warm-up exercises. All attendees were served refreshments and snacks throughout the day, offered by the event's sponsors and participating companies.

Several children were given the opportunity to express their gratitude to the sponsors for supporting them through their sponsorship of Run Kuwait this year.
