KUWAIT: Panadol Baby and Infant medication is safe for usage and there should be no worries in such regard, said the Health Ministry yesterday. Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr Omar Al-Sayed Omar said the current stock of the medicine in Kuwait was safe for use, noting that the drug's May stocks was completely replaced in all of the GCC region.

In May, the health ministry issued a warning and asked all pharmacies to remove the drug from shelves due to a request from the producing company which discovered an error in the dosage details on the packaging. Any new information and updates on diseases, remedies, and medicines will be posted on the Health Ministry's website, he said. - Kuna
