shootingKUWAIT: The second Public Authority for Sports Shooting Tournament concluded on Sunday at Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex.

The ceremony was attended by President of Kuwait and Arab Shooting Federations Eng Duaij Al-Otaibi, KSSF and ASF Secretary General Obaid Al-Osaimi and Kuwait Shooting Sport Club Vice-president Mohammad Mustafa Karam and PAS supervisor of "Sports For All" Waleed Al-Sultan.

The tournament was held over three days from 12th to 14th February in the 50m pistol and rifle, as well as archery.

Obaid Al-Osaimi said shooting community is happy to organize the PAS tournament which saw strong competition between shooters, and that the KSSC and KSSF highly appreciates the role of Information Minister, State Minister for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, Director General of PAS Sheikh Ahmad Mansour Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, his deputies and all employees there for their efforts in the interest of sports in general and shooting in particular.

Al-Osaimi lauded the large participation of shooters from the club and National Guard, as this tournament is being held while the club is preparing for HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Sixth Annual Shooting Grand Prix which begins from 1st to 8th March, with the participation of nearly 45 countries.

Results of the tournament are as follows:

50 meter air rifle, prone:

Khalid Al-Subaie, Abdallah Al-Harby and Mishref Al-Daihani.

50 meter pistol:

Hassan Al-Mulla, Saad Mane, Ali Al-Mutairi.

50 meter rifle 3 positions:

Abdallah Al-Harby, Khalid Al-Subaie and Mohammad Adel.

50 meter rifle prone - women:

Amal Al-Asem, Neeran Irzouqi and Heba Irzouqi.

Olympic archery:

Bader Saleh, Faisal Al-Rashidi and Abdallah Al-Harmy.

Compound archery:

Faisal Mislem, Ahmad Al-Shatti and Amer Al-Hajiri.
