KUWAIT: Passenger movement at Kuwait International Airport increased 26 percent in October, with the total number amounting to a million compared to 840,000 in the same month in 2015, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said. It said in a statement yesterday that incoming passengers reached some 559,900 in October, in contrast to 475,800 in the same month in the past year. It quoted aviation monitor Abdullah Al-Rajhi as saying departing passengers amounted to 499,400 in October, against 382,300 in the same month in 2016. The total number of aircraft in operation at the facility reached 9,355, compared to 8,550.
