KUWAIT: A pilot detained his wife for two months and beat her during this time. A security source said the woman told Hawally police station that her husband detained her and took her jewelry, and prevented her from calling her family. The news report does not specify how the woman was freed. A case was filed for investigations.

A citizen sought the help of police when a person who was the cause of her divorce threatened to enter her house in Abu Fateera and attack her sisters. A security source said a citizen went to Mubarak Al-Kabeer police station in a hysterical state and said that a man she knows told her he was waiting in front of her family's house and was about to enter and attack her sisters. Police went to the house and found nothing abnormal. The woman gave police details of the man, and detectives were asked to arrest him.

Farwaniya police arrested four Indian nationals for running a liquor brewery. Police raided a building in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and found drums filled with liquor and equipment.
