KUWAIT: Pastor of the St Mark Coptic Orthodox Church in Kuwait, Father Bishoy, stressed that the visit of Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria to Kuwait in the period of April 23-27 on an invitation by Kuwait's political leadership remains scheduled.

Bishoy also expressed gratitude to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for condoling Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and Pope Tawadros on those killed in the bombings of churches in Tanta and Alexandria. Father Bishoy also stressed that such a criminal act targeted undermining Egyptians' unity. "Enemies have always failed to achieve this vicious goal and will always fail, thanks to our unity in Egypt," he underlined.
