GAZA: Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) announced Saturday that with the support of Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) and as part of an Iftar (fast-breaking) meal distribution campaign, food packages have been given out to more than over a thousand families in Gaza. Society official Abdulaziz Abu Aesha stated that they have distributed food packages to around 1,127 families in need, with total members of around 6,000.

He clarified that the packages are given out to those in dire need of help due to economic situations and recurring crises in Gaza strip, and they are chosen according to Ministry of Social Affairs criteria. The packages include primary foodstuffs like sugar, oil, rice, lentils, salt and other items necessary for Iftar meals. Abu Aesha expressed gratitude to KRCS and the Kuwaiti people for their continuous support to the Palestinian people. - KUNA
