'Prostitutes' arrested

KUWAIT: Immigration detectives recently stormed two fake labor offices where they arrested 17 female Asians. The women were alleged hiring out as prostitutes to earn extra cash on their weekly day off from their sponsors' houses. In another incident, an Asian was recently arrested in Farwaniya with the possession of home-made liquor, said security sources.

Woman penalized

MoI's Relations and Security Media announced that standard legal measures have been taken against a female citizen who insulted a traffic policeman after she was issued a ticket as shown on social media. Denying the suspect's allegations on social media, the department stressed that the woman's driver's license was withdrawn pending further legal measures.
