Putin lands in Tehran for Syria summit with Iran and Turkey

Tehran: Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Tehran on Tuesday, state television said, for a summit with his Iranian and Turkish counterparts on Syrian that has been overshadowed by Russia's war on Ukraine.

Putin travelled abroad for only the second time since he ordered the invasion of Ukraine on February 24 in order to attend the trilateral meeting in the Iranian capital.
