KUWAIT: Qadisiya players celebrate after their win in Kuwait's Women Indoor Football Championship.

KUWAIT: With only 20 seconds remaining in the match, Qadisiya's player Abrar Al-Hamadi scored a goal against Fatat Club securing the first win for her team in Kuwait's Women Indoor Football Championship with a final score of 3-2. Meanwhile, Kuwait defeated Arabi 5-1 in the second match of the day in the tournament's best-of-three playoffs' stage.

Qadisiya's win was described as an upset as it came against a Fatat team that ended the regular season matches on top of the standings, while Qadisiya was fourth. Mai Al-Ahmad scored Qadisiya's first goal in the 4th minute, but Fatat did not wait long to equalize with a goal in the 6th minute scored by Naseema Ghulami.

The best player in Asia Farashta Kareemi scored for Qadisiya 8 minutes before the end of first half. Dina Al-Khawari was able to score the equalizer for Fatat in the 25th minute before Hammadi secured the win for Qadisiya.
