Record-shattering cold freezes US

KUWAIT: Kuwait’s girls rhythmic gymnastics team won three medals, one gold and two silver, during the Poland International Championship held in the city of Gdynia, amid wide participation from a number of advanced countries in the game.

The Game Federation praised this achievement, which confirms the development of Kuwaiti rhythmic gymnastics, lauding the efforts of the players who contributed to achieving this achievement, namely: Fawzia Al-Abdulkareem, Raya Al-Qassar, Nabila Al-Kharafi and Sarah Al-Bannai.

The Federation explained that the tournament witnessed the participation of 23 countries, namely Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine, Turkey, Japan, New Zealand, Brazil, Turkey, Egypt in addition to Kuwait and the host country (Poland), noting that participation in such strong tournaments comes within the federation’s plan to prepare a team capable of competing in continental and international tournaments.

The federation congratulated the players on this outstanding achievement, praising their performance and the efforts of the national team’s coach, Ukrainian Viktoria Vsyuk.
