KUWAIT: Three young men were involved in a fight as they were celebrating the national days. A security source said one of the men was angry with another for throwing a water balloon on him and a third intervened, leading to a fight that police broke up. Policemen discovered that the three, all citizens, were under the influence of drugs. The three were arrested and sent to concerned authorities.

Smugglings foiled

Customs officers foiled three separate attempts to smuggle out various food supplies by three persons, two Egyptians and one Jordanian, and all were arrested for attempting to smuggle subsidized goods. The items included milk powder, oil, rice, tomato paste and others.

Fake cop caught

A Syrian man impersonating as a detective was arrested by Jahra police in Kabd. Patrol police found the suspect in his car, and when he was questioned, they discovered that he was under the influence of drugs. The suspect had shabu (meth) and a police flasher, which he used it to impersonate detectives and rob expats. He was sent to concerned authorities.
