KUWAIT: An American was recently arrested for robbing mobile phone stores and money in Abo Fateera, security sources said. The case started when a mobile phone owner filed robbery case his by an unidentified robber who stole five expensive mobile phones and KD 1250 in cash. On checking the surveillance cams, detectives identified the suspect and arrested him while hanging around the area. The suspect confessed and a case was field. In another development, a Pakistani barber reported that an unidentified Egyptian had stopped and threatened him with a knife in Farwaniya before robbing him of his KD 600 and other valuable items.

Dentist attacked

Dissatisfied with the service she got at private dentist clinic in Farwaniya, a female citizen assaulted both the dentist and a receptionist before she left the place. Filled with rage, the woman left her purse and snatched the file and dashed out of the clinic. A case was filed and the woman is being summoned for further investigations.

Policeman under investigation

MoI is currently subjecting a policeman under investigation for detaining some school students who had skipped school in his patrol vehicle.

3 Kuwaitis arrested

Three citizens were recently arrested at Nuwaiseeb land border exit for drug related cases. The suspects had heroin packs hidden within their vehicle, said security sources.

Kuwaiti robbed

A citizen reported that someone driving a car stopped him in Sabahiya area and asked to use his mobile phone. The man added that the driver took the phone and drove off waving goodbye to him.

Fighting in restaurant
