BUCHAREST: Romanian State Secretary for Global Affairs and Diplomatic Strategies Cornel Feruta stressed yesterday his country's keenness to enhance cooperation with Kuwait in various fields. This came during his meeting with Kuwait's Ambassador to Romania Talal Al-Hajri.

Following a letter received from Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Dr Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah to Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu, Feruta said relations between Kuwait are constantly developing in many fields.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Hajri said that they discussed issues of common interest, in addition to the latest developments regarding the case of Kuwaiti businessman Mohammad Al-Baghli, who has been missing in Romania since August 2015, and urged the relevant Romanian authorities to exert more efforts to reveal his fate. Baghli had disappeared in mysterious circumstances in Kiya village in the Brahova district, north of the capital Bucharest in 2015. - KUNA
