Romania urged to intensify search for missing Kuwaiti

BUCHAREST: The Kuwaiti Ambassador to Romania Talal Al-Hajri has discussed with Chairman of the Romanian Senate Kalin Popescu-Taricanu the disappearance of Kuwaiti citizen Mohammad Al-Baghli in in the European country. The ambassador called for exerting greater efforts to determine his whereabouts and destiny.

Ambassador Hajri said yesterday that the Senate's chairman affirmed his concern toward this case and pledged to nudge the relevant authorities to do more for locating the Kuwaiti national, who has been missing in Romania since August 5, 2015. He indicated that he asked the chief senator to support Kuwait's request that the European Union relieve Kuwaiti nationals of the Schengen visa. - KUNA
