Roommates hospitalized after fight

KUWAIT: Two Indians were injured after they fought in a bachelors’ residence in Jahra governorate. The two roommates used sticks and knives, prompting others to call the police, who put an end to the fight. Both were taken to Jahra Hospital, then questioned, but did not divulge what the fight was about.

Swindling cases
An Egyptian was arrested by Fawaniya police and was found wanted for seven swindling cases, including a KD 23,000 case. The arrest was made in Dajeej, as the suspect started running when he saw the police. He was chased and arrested following stiff resistance. He was taken to criminal detectives for further legal action.

Fugitive caught
A female citizen was detained by Salmiya police for being wanted in a theft case. The woman called police in Mangaf claiming that a man was threatening to kill her, so police responded. When her ID was checked, she was found to be wanted by authorities.

Search for estranged husband
A citizen attacked his wife and attempted to break down the door of her Andalus house, then escaped before the arrival of police. A charge of attempting an unauthorized house entry and threatening was lodged against him.
