Kuwaiti soap operas in Ramadan: ‘Saq Al Bamboo’, Been Galbin

Saq Al Bamboo’ (Bamboo Stalk)

Nooriya takes her daughter Noor out of the house to know the things she is hiding from her. Noor tells her that her aunt Awatef asked for her son and not Nooriya’s son. Nooriya then tells her son to have dinner at Ghanima’s house to get closer to Khawla. Luzviminda asks Eisa if he wants to have dinner with her as she is also lonely, but he replied that this is his family’s house.

Eisa Noor’s brother invites Khawla and Noor for dinner or a movie but Khawla refuses. Noor asks her why she doesn’t like him and Khawla says that she feels like he is her brother. Jabber asks Noor to meet, and tells her that he loves her and not Khawla. She shockingly shouts at him saying he is a cheater to which he replies that he will travel and then end his relation with Khawla.

Khawla complains to Noor that Jaber will travel and he didn’t even make time to see her. Khawla and Noor think he is planning for something and says she also thinks there is something, but Noor doesn’t tell her what Jaber said to her. Noor also advised her to ask Jaber if he is serious and to propose her. Noor bought a turtle for Eisa. He liked it.

Been Galbin (Between Two Hearts)

Yasmin dies in the accident. After two months Dana decides to leave Bashar and live with her father in Dubai, but Bashar refuses. Dana resigns from the school where she was working and also the salon, where one of the staff calls Aryam to tell her that Dana is leaving to Dubai. She packs her suitcase and Noora pleads her to stay because she is her best friend, but Dana takes a taxi and leaves to the airport.

Noora calls Bashar who was with Aryam and he goes to the airport to find Dana before she leaves. He asks her not to leave but she says their relationship is over and asks him to send her the divorce papers. Basher gets married to Aryam and Noora refuses to attend his wedding. She tells him that Aryam is not suitable for him and that she will destroy his life. Marzouq and his parents are upset that Aryam got married without their permission, and also that her husband is not form a known family.
