‘Saq Al Bamboo’ and ‘Been Galbin’: Episode 2

The Kuwait Times is publishing daily review of two of Kuwaiti soap operas showing on Al Rai TV and MBC Drama. Here are the reviews of the second episodes of the season:

‘Saq Al Bamboo’ (Bamboo stalk)
While on their way to the chalet, Rashid decides to marry Josephine and bring his two friends as witnesses. When the mother complains of Josephine’s behavior, Rashid pretends to shouting at Josephine.

Ghasan speaks to Rashid’s sister Hind at the chalet then Josephine comes, and Hind tells her to wash his wet cloths. Then Josephine finds a letter in his pocket and gives it to Hind. Ghasan wrote in this paper that he knows is late but soon he will announce their victory.

Josephine tells Rashid that she is pregnant and he tell hers to get an abortion but she refuses. His friends suggest he take her back to the Philippines abut he is confused. The family star notices she is tired and looks sick. Hind tells Rashid they have to take her to the hospital but he refuses so she notices there is something wrong and tells him she is suspecting there is a relationship between them.
Been-Galbin
Been Galbin (between two hearts)
Dana’s father gets married in Dubai but she doesn’t attend his wedding. She tells her friend she didn’t go because she always wanted her dad to get married in Kuwait.

Aryam’s director asks her to work with Bashar so she benefits from his experience as he is one of the best employees. Basher is excited as he likes Aryam, and they start talking. When she tells him that she will design her own wedding dress he is shocked and disappointed to find out she is engaged.

Abdulrazaq gets a scholarship for his training course abroad and asks Aryam to join him and fix the wedding later, but she refuses. Muhsen, the friend of Bashar is in love with his sister Yasmin, and insists he wants to propose to her. Bashar asks him to wait for some time as she is still affected by her recent mother’s death.
