Saudi executed for murder

KUWAIT: Dasman Diabetes Institute launched its awareness campaign in schools in cooperation with Kuwait Foundation for Advancement of Science (KFAS), in order to carry out tests and medical consultations, in addition to enrich scientific culture with students.

DDI Public Relations Director Tarek Aleryan said the campaign began at Daeya Joint Girls School where a mobile clinic was stationed. He said DDI participated through its mobile clinic that is medically equipped to carry out basic medical tests such as blood sugar levels and vital signs, etc in order to help people detect the disease at an early stage and how to prevent diabetes and its complications.

He said booklets and pamphlets about the topic including healthy nutrition and diabetes prevention and the importance of physical activity were distributed.
