Young artists in Kuwait responded to the final call from Architecture students to express their objections to the deconstruction of Bayt Lothan. This campaign was guided by the student associations at the Faculty of Architecture of Kuwait University in a stand against the ongoing demolishing process which was started last week.

The legacy of Bayt Lothan goes back to the 1930s when it was constructed by the late Sheikh Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah in Salmiya, to be transformed later into a cultural center.

Photos are selected from the participating artists: Halah Al-Eissa, Rana Ajrawi, Zain Al-Farhan, Reem Al-Farhan, Kholoud Al-Asfour, Asayel Al-Saeed, Rahaf Al-Dabbous and Al-Zahra Ashkanani.
