Scores arrested in Nugra crackdown

Security crackdown in Nugra

KUWAIT: Assistant Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Special Security Maj Gen Mahmoud Al-Dousary and Jahra Security Director General Maj Gen Ali Madhi supervised a security campaign in Nugra on Saturday. The campaign resulted in checking the IDs of 1,200 persons, as well as arresting a person wanted over a felony, 11 wanted for civil cases, 52 absconding persons, 60 persons without IDs and eight with expired residencies. Meanwhile, several persons were arrested with drugs and 350 traffic violations were issued. Six vehicles were impounded.
