KUWAIT: The first stage of the Gulf Initiative of bicycles being held under the theme "March of Gratitude" as riders covered more than 90 km, while the second stage will still start from the seaside Shaab area towards Sahara Complex in Subhan, then they will head towards Safir Fintas covering a total distance of 70 km, while the initiative's activities will be concluded tomorrow (Saturday).

Former Bahrain Member of Parliament Jamal Buhassan lauded the idea of the Gulf Initiative adding "this initiative is considered one of the joint Gulf initiatives that strengthens brotherly ties and integration that is built on love between all GCC citizens, and this comes through having such events." He wished the initiative success as well as all joint Gulf activities."

Buhassan said the sport activities between GCC citizens is one of the most important fields that bring brothers together, adding that the Gulf Initiative include several humanitarian messages and we are proud to spread such noble values.

Chairwoman of the organizing committee Sarah Al-Hubail thanked all supporters and sponsors, and hoped for more participation from the GCC in future events.

Bader Al-Esaa who is known by Bunabil character said the "idea of organizing the initiative is a beautiful one and rely's on challenging the body, and who can challenge his abilities, as he is able to do all what he wants."
